[h1]THE ALIEN CUBE[/h1] Sequel to the interesting "THE LAND OF PAIN" and again, developed by Alessandro Guzzo, this game is more to my liking and the mysterious adventure was better made as well. The Lovecraftian story was quite good and it do follows the first game loosely but has many connections to it. The mystery of exploration as the story unfolds is what this game is all about. What the hell is going on? Who are you? Who are you, here? Where are you? There are a few short chase sequence that are MUCH improved from the first game's annoying and irritating shadow entity that chases you around and doesn't let go! Here, you just gotta run and keep running in the scripted direction and you'll be fine. The visuals are very good! The sounds and music does the job quite well too. Our protogonist have a voice actor this time and it is fine. Gameplay is mostly a walking simulator at times but you have to do many interactions with certain items, in order to progress the story. Contrary to the first game, in TAC, you do have some items to find in order to progress but it is WAY WAY less tedious than Land of Pain. The "puzzles" are minimal in this sequel and I found them fine! I di…1 found this helpful
Good game for what it is. I got what I expected, but the lack of customizable controls is unforgettable in any game released after year 2000. On top of that the JUMP get activated as you release the key, not as you push it. Despite of this, the game looks and and sounds great.1 found this helpful

Another great atmospheric horror!
This game is the second horrorgame i've ever played (after the land of pain). And it was amazing. I would recommend it definitly to every horrorfan out there
