✦ AI summary

Time Lock VR 1 has an intriguing time-manipulation premise and decent sci-fi presentation, but players largely agree the core mechanic is underutilized and poorly integrated into puzzle design. Most complaints center on puzzles that feel more like object hunts with obvious solutions rather than meaningful use of time mechanics, combined with the game being very short and feeling unpolished overall, leading most reviewers to suggest waiting for a significant discount if interested at all.

Time Lock VR 1 had an interesting idea with the time-manipulation mechanics, and the sci-fi atmosphere was pretty decent. However, the gameplay felt a bit clunky and the puzzles weren't always very intuitive. It's also quite short, and the overall experience feels a little unpolished. Not a terrible VR game, but I wouldn't really recommend it unless you can get it heavily discounted.

The concept of Time Lock VR 1 is genuinely interesting: going back and forth through time to solve puzzles has great potential. Unfortunately, I don't feel like the game actually makes meaningful use of that concept. The biggest problem for me is that the time-freezing/reversing mechanics don't seem to play a real role in solving the puzzles. I kept expecting the game to eventually give me a clever situation where manipulating time was essential, but that never really happened. Instead, most of the "puzzles" felt more like finding an object hidden behind another and putting it where the game clearly told me it belonged. That brings me to another issue: almost everything is labeled with its destination. There's very little experimentation or deduction involved. It's essentially, "Oh, this is the key, and that's where the key goes." I would have much preferred to figure things out naturally rather than having the game practically explain the solution before I had a chance to solve it. The game also feels extremely bare-bones. The graphics are very dated, and the sound design is minimal. There's background music and objects make noises when they interact with things, but enemies do…

This would be a bare bones DEMO, let alone a "full release". I never even used the time manipulation and I beat it. its also 30 mins.

The base principle of the game is very attractive, and could really lead to a great game. However the puzzles don't really make sense, and the time-travel concept, which is the key of the game, is really not exploited at its best. You just end up randomly moving through time to find different objects and use them. But the actions you take in the past don't have an effect in the future, which is really expected in this kind of game. Also in the beginning you learn (with difficulty) how to freeze time and get back in time, which is super cool, but turns out to be perfectly useless to complete the puzzles.

Cool time-management puzzles, the game is addictive. Looks sprightly in the helmet, I recommend it.

At the moment, I have not seen a worse game, I did not like absolutely anything, from graphics to gameplay, although in such a field as VR to create cool unique content, it seems not a great feat, this niche could be occupied, but alas, the author did not succeed, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this project for review
