The deckbuilding aspect of this game is cool. The story and combat also play well

It took about 17 hours for me to finish the main boss run. I then played another 10 hours to unlock all the encounters/cards. So a total of 27 hours of enjoyable play time using the normal/default difficulty. It probably would have been less if I would have figured out some boss mechanics faster. After mostly unlocking everything, there really isn't much more to do so end game (endless mode) is just repeating the same runs over and over trying for a better score. The game loop is addictive by trying to unlock the encounters and defeating hard enemies. The combat while simple is quite fun. The progression is well done and you actually get some feel of accomplishment. The only let down here is the randomness of the game can really affect gameplay. [spoiler] You will quickly find the "cheat" to get better outcomes as you don't want to ruin a run or you just want to move forward easier. [/spoiler] The graphics are well done for the age of the game. The music fits well. The voice acting is okay but tends to grate a bit after listening to the dealer harp on repeatedly. Buy on discount/ 10 Not bad, but could be better. The movement through the deck dungeons can feel grindy and confusing since events often have to be done multiple times and with specific choices to get certain upgrades. This isn't a bad thing, but its a choice some like more than others.
