About Guild of Dungeoneering Ultimate Edition
Build dungeons room by room with cards to guide a stubborn hero through increasingly dangerous challenges, then manage your guild between runs to unlock new classes and expand your arsenal. It's a clever twist on dungeon crawlers where you're designing the maze instead of navigating it, complete with full control over where monsters lurk and treasure waits.
Now fully rebuilt and remastered, Guild of Dungeoneering Ultimate Edition is a turn-based dungeon crawler with a twist: instead of controlling the hero you build the dungeon around them. Using cards drawn from your Guild decks, you lay down rooms, monsters, traps and of course loot! Meanwhile your hero is making their own decisions on where to go and what to fight. But will they be strong enough to take on the deepest dungeons? In between dungeon runs you manage your Guild, building new rooms to attract new classes of adventurer and expand your decks of cards with more powerful items.
• Bigger and better than ever, all content from Pirates Cove and Ice Cream Headaches is now included in the game for FREE! Not to mention new classes, new monsters, new quests and new chests full of loot. • Customise your dungeoneers like never before with dozens of new hairstyles and accessories, as well as new victory traits to help them survive that little bit longer among the dangers you throw at them.
• Improved game mechanics and complete re-balance will make your time spent in the guilds and dungeons as fun and enjoyable as it's ever been. Sending Chumps to their doom has never been such a blast!
• New writing, animations, music and sound effects bring the dungeons and guild to life more than ever. But beware, the bard is back with his unique brand of snark.

_Achievement Review: Difficulty: 4/10 (RNG-heavy in the beginning) Approx. Time Invested: 25h MP Achievements: No Misc. / Activities / Collectibles: No Missable Achievements: Nothing that cannot be done within 20 minutes of starting a new save I am not a huge fan of the deck-builder genre, so I started this game for the first time 10 years ago and dropped it because of the heavy RNG and frustration. Now, a decade later, I took the time to understand how it works and have to say that Guild of Dungeoneering has its charm. It is a wonderful game that can become repetitive the longer it goes on, but it has lovely art! _Gameplay: The game itself is simple. You start with a Guild, and the Guild grows as you discover more dungeons with your so-called "Dungeoneers". There are 17 different classes, all of which start with a specific set of cards and can create a unique playstyle. After that, your playstyle is dictated by luck and the equipment cards you find. The most frustrating part is the RNG and draw luck, as is the case in most deck-builder games. Overall, the gameplay felt a little drawn out. _Immersion: The game has a lovely hand-drawn art style that looks incredibly cute. All …1 found this helpful
It is light, I like how every class have their own basic deck and then you can customize it in the dungeon. One game is not that long, so I can always take a quick leisure break and resume my daily activities
i wish there was more games like this, very fun and the songs are awesome.
I have a graveyard full of 20 different Gregs, most of which died before killing anything.
I always thought this was a cute, quick game - perfect for a few minutes of play here and there.
Great fun and unique!
