10 Miles to Safety is a unique isometric action/strategy game where 1-4 players must explore, loot, craft and build to survive, all the while trying to make their way through a giant randomly-generated world towards ultimate rescue and escape. As you move nearer your goal you’ll find the infected slowly evolving and becoming more dangerous, but also find more powerful weapons, gear, blueprints and crafting recipes to aid you.

The world is full of the tools you'll need to survive: Loot every house, shop and vehicle you find to scavenge weapons, materials, ammo, blueprints & recipes.
TRY TO SURVIVE THE NIGHT
More dangerous creatures hunt in the darkness: Stay in the light and construct barricades, traps & crafted gadgets to make it through the night.
SET YOUR OWN PACE
Advance towards rescue and the infected grow endlessly more lethal. But range far and wide - or even retreat - to upgrade your weapons and gear & stock up on resources before moving ever onwards.
OVER 20 UNIQUE WEAPONS
Take the fight to the infected using Shotguns, Assault rifles, Grenade Launchers, Flamethrowers, Katanas & more - many upgradeable with attachments hidden throughout the world.
1-4 PLAYER CO-OP
You are not alone: Up to 3 friends can drop in at any time to aid you on your journey - though be warned that the world will become more lethal with every additional survivor in your group.
EVENTS AND MISSIONS
On your journey you'll come across survivors to save and infected to kill in special events and missions. Completing these risky trials rewards you with bonus gear, blueprints or even AI companions who'll fight by your side.
CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER
Choose from one of five starting characters - each with distinct advantages leading to wildly different ways of playing the game - and unlock more by completing challenges and achievements.

If the game wasn't bad enough already, it uses the imperial system. The proper name for the game should be "16.0934 Kilometers to Safety"; at least that would make it superficially better.2 found this helpful
Love the genre, but man, that's so buggy, so unpolished, sometimes fps dropping with a 2026 gaming computer, I would have love to like it... But neh... Big NO.1 found this helpful

great game, awesome setting. reminds me of Left 4 Dead but with survival/crafting mechanics.
- Extremely laggy. Some mobile-like dull visual should not slow RTX3070 into oblivion when there are <10 mobs present. - Unbalanced. Some weapons are best-in-slot, some are useless. Why would you trade shotgun for single-load sniper rifle that cant even 1 shot a basic zed? - Buggy. Loot drops on unpathable terrain, monster hitting your through walls and airs, some hitbox connections are weird at best. - It gets...boring? Sleep, go, defend an outpost. Some scripted events here and there. Overall could've been so much more, but instead we have...this Do not buy
