Terrible. Download Mame and play one of the old, actually good shmups without stupid gimmicks.

A-tier shmup Totally reminds me of an early 2000s flash game, in a good way. It's got some neat features and plays well. It's cool to have your little squadron and be able to customize and upgrade them, plus there is a little banter between the pilots that flows nicely with the missions. I like how your aircraft's damage is represented with the bullet holes and the cracks in the glass of the cockpit. And I enjoyed the background zooming out when we gained altitude. The inertia also functions well. I intend to play this more and will possibly get the DLC.
I have been playing this through Amazon and now have it on Steam for my Deck and cloud saves. Honestly the game is decent. As a top down shooter it is actually pretty good...except two things: 1. It is a mobile game, and is very grindy. At least with this game lets me press a button to shoot..instead of like the first that shoots for you. 2. Each pilot has a...urr...ummm...problem. And that problem will happen for someone in each level. Basically they are all crazy and you have to deal with the drama. It may sound like fun where, say, one goes nuts and starts shooing all over the place...and you have to play keep away. But it is not..and it gets annoying fast. But apart from these two aspects...I actually enjoy the game a lot. I think the upgrading system is great. I don't mind grinding...but it can be quite a lot. If you are not a grinder, this game is not for you! If you can get past those and want a good top down shooter then this is worth it.
