Adventure Apes and the Mayan Mystery

This game has potential. There are issues though. Ever since the developer changed something because some people were complaining about pixelation, you can't actually change the resolution of the game now. You can change the size of the window, but the game stays small. The discussion boards have a hack to change to compatibility mode that at least allows the game to be played on a wide screen monitor. However, there are no settings for this game. Though it kind works with a controller, it also doesn't work with a controller. For example, I can't start the game using the controller. I have to use the keyboard. I'm not even sure which button I used, I thought it was "Enter" but I'm not sure. Because when I just died and was presented with the "Continue" or "Quit" Screen, I was unable to interact with that screen. What was the point of saving? There were some basic design issues and weirdness with jumping and how extra lives worked, but honestly, I thought I'd be okay if I was able to play it longer. I was having a fun good run with it, and would have continued, but I was unable to do so because of bad game interface design. Due to that, I can't recommend this game. TLDR; sc…

Can you please fix the game. Controller not working (X360), and the game runs like crap, it's super slow laaagish like 10fps. 4 core 8 thread i7965x 3.75 clock 1gen or 2nd gen 12GB ram WIN 10x64 still working :D But here comes a 8mb platformer game that barely uses 10% of the CPU and still runs like crap. Went out of my way to buy this game, now I can't play it :( Seen someone on youtube with similar framerate to mine on one of the gameplay vids, but on the others, it seems to work much faster. To be honest I doubt it's my PC as the DEMO version from GameJolt works flawless. SO PLEASE FIX IT AS I WOULD LIKE TO PLAY IT Will change the review if game is fixed, at the moment I can't recommend it.

I can play Cyberpunk 2077 on ultra settings with +200fps but can't go above 5 fps on this game... I really would like to try it but it's laggy af, how is that even possible that a Unity game (I suppose it was made on Unity), run at such a low frame rate ?

The screen is tiny and even the recommended f4 button just has the tiny screen in the middle of black. Jumping is awkward. Its not really for me, but there might be Platform enthusiast that may enjoy this.

A fun and enjoyable experience. It reminds of mega man mixed with metroid. The ammo and health is like megaman, enemies drop pelets of different colors for different types of ammo or health. The layout of the levels are mixed between linear and exploring for secrets. There are 6 or 7 levels in total and 4 or 5 bosses. A lot to do and explore! The controls were responsive, no delays in input, it is a hard game with the platforming being tight, but if you like a challenge instead of a walk in the park, this might be the challenge for you. A big downside of the game is the forced screen resolution of something strange, leaving it to be a small box sitting in the middle of your screen. If you can get past that, you will enjoy this game for the price.

It plays in a tiny ~400x320 no matter what... And its just like, boring, controls weird, yeah, stay away. Unless the Dev actually does something to fix, mainly the horrible no-fullscreen issue.
