Combat System.
When trouble comes sniffin' yer way you'll settle things in the sky. Battle enemy airships using a deeply strategic, turn-based combat system. Allocate yer steam wisely or this fight might could be yer last!
Yer Ship.
Buy or scavenge loot to upgrade yer old, beat-up, steam-powered freighter. Upgrade your ship's armor, engines, and sensors. Outfit yer ship with the finest weaponry The West has to offer--rifles, Gatling-guns, cannons, flamethrowers and more!

So it doesn't look like much and doesn't have many reviews. The reviews that it has aren't great because it's clunky and riddled with minor bugs. On the other hand, it is essentially Sunless Sea in a Firefly-like universe and it is absolutely fantastic! There is a button called "Settin's". What more do you need to know?1 found this helpful
Simple RPG with great wordlbuilding and passable story. There is not much freedom and usual RPG choices (basically you just upgrade your ship and thats it). You are expected to follow the story (I would even go as far as call the game Visual Novel). On the other hand, it works reasonably well and... come on... steampunk Wild West has real charm ;) Game gave me more than hour of enjoyment for a buck, so thumbs up.
Fun Western with airships using antigravity technology. I know that turn-based combat system isn't for everyone, but I really enjoyed this. Story was surprisingly good, too.
The game is incredibly glitchy and softlocks frequently after combat. There's interactions where NPCS can take your money and then fail to give you the items, and the game doesn't let you go back and retrieve it- and the NPC remains glitched for the last of the run and unable to give you said item. And travel is incredibly slow. I have tried to like this, but it's a miserable experience
Wow, it's very rare for me to finish a game I hate. So good job, I guess? Of course, that's because I only hate it because of the last 30 seconds of gameplace. Make no mistake, the ending *plot* is fine. I like a pyrrhic victory story as well as anyone. It's the implementation of that which makes this the worst ending to any game I've played in the last 10 years. No spoilers, but nothing you, as the player, do matters. Fine, games with linear fixed stories can be good. No, *nothing* matters. The whole game, you know you're headed for a big fight. Better take the time to figure out a ship design that works well. Except nope, you *must* lose the last 2 fights. I'm quite certain the second to last fight is scripted so the enemy never misses. The last fight doesn't even do you that courtesy. It just lets you knock it down to half health and then it regenerates all further damage. Without any comment. I did enough damage to kill the stupid thing thrice over, before I got bored and gave up. If you're supposed to lose, give it weapons with enough accuracy that you *will* lose. Or interrupt the fight like happens previously to do something scripted. Or skip the whole last fight and…
The atmosphere is great, drawing, writing and noise background great a unique vibe. The world building makes sense, I care about the characters. The combat seems fairly easy so far, when you think a bit about the systems and its implications. I am curious how the story continuous.
