"Age Of Privateer" is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Slay the Spire (Copyright MegaCrit Games, 2019). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. Putting aside the unethical intellectual, creative and moral bankruptcy of stealing someone else's game concept, this is also breaking that unwritten law of stealing other people's game ideas... you should at least try to do better than the game you're ripping off. "Age Of Privateer" is considerably worse than Slay the Spire. The only notable difference is worse card design, and the whole thing has a pirate skin instead of the dungeon crawl one. The developers abandoned this 1 year and 5 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay.
