Control a transforming AirMech from the sky to command units, build defenses, and dominate enemies in this action-packed blend of RTS and tower defense gameplay. Customize your mech with recovered parts, unlock diverse units and abilities through play, and tackle solo campaigns or online battles your way—all playable with mouse, keyboard, or gamepad.

- Action-RTS Transformed: Your AirMech is your cursor for a twist on typical RTS games! From the skies pickup and drop your units to help them, or transform into mech mode and fight along side them. Currently there are 9 unique AirMech frames to choose from, and many skins for each. Every AirMech suits a particular playstyle, so you can pick one and make it perfect or collect a full stable for maximum flexibility.
- Build Your Army: Dozens of Units are available as you progress through the game. Play the way you want to, between your AirMech and the Units you choose to build.
- Control Options: Supports both mouse/keyboard and gamepad. (gamepad support WIP, plays well ingame)

I originally played AirMech on Xbox, and it is still one of the most unique strategy games I have played. The main idea sounds stranalso building and commanding an army. But it works really well. You are constantly moving between bases, carrying units where they are needed, defending your fortress, helping a push, or trying to stop the enemy from taking control of the map. It feels more involved than a normal RTS because you are never just sitting back and watching units fight. There is a lot going on once you start learning it properly. The units you bring, the bases you hold, where you place defenses, and when you decide to commit to an attack can completely change a match. It can be hectic, but it has a kind of strategy that I have not really found in many other games. The Xbox version being shut down is still disappointing. I spent a lot of time playing AirMech Arena there, and it is sad that it has been unavailable for years. I know the console version was handled separately from the PC version, and I still hope AirMech can return to consoles in some form eventually. This game is one hell of a series, I've been playing airmech for years, starting on Arena. And every one of them was a big ol' fun time every session, luv me UFO. Do play! Its a real fun game.2 found this helpful

An old, but peak game. I love how it looks good but doesn't need high end pc parts
Very fun game with the interesting dynamic of an RTS, where you both build and control units, and also fight them yourself. Sadly the game servers are a bit sparse, but tons of fun with friends
