About Albacete Warrior

Albacete Warrior is a satirical combat game where you take on the role of Benito Waters, ninja from Albacete, Spain, in his worldwide adventure on an important task given to him by his master, Paco sensei. With his trusty companion, friend and also main weapon, Pepito the chicken, cockslap waves of enemies whose only wish is to see you dead and fulfill the ancient prophecy to become the chosen one, like many that have come before him. Being the chosen one doesn’t really seem very special but it does sound fun.

Fight, climb, laugh and weep alone or with friends! Albacete Warrior includes a cooperative mode where you can experience Benito’s odyssey in good company while you shed gallons of pixelated blood.

A very Spanish game! It tells a story about a ninja from Albacete with a humorous tone. So the game is full of typical references and jokes from Spain. The gameplay is a Beat ’Em Up with some Slasher and Platform elements. Overall, the game is fun without getting tedious. However, it has a short duration and is in alpha. The good point is that the team stills working on it and listens to the feedback from the players. So the new episodes will come soon. And another good point is the local cooperative! So it is a great candidate to play it with a friend because of its price and comic atmosphere.7 found this helpful
I like the visual style and overall concept. But the game itself is just incredibly janky from controls, to movement, to UI, etc. It also doesnt seem to actually fully support controller because I couldn't actually dash at all and needed to switch to keyboard to even play the game and pass the tutorial.5 found this helpful

I could not stomach the introduction... The main character is so unlikable I decided I'm not rooting for him to succeed.
I didn't play for long, but long enough to know I'd not enjoy the writing which is extremely juvenile and crass, nor the clunky platforming and combat.
