About Aliens&Asteroids
Aliens & Asteroids is a small fast paced space shoot 'em up. It is inspired by the classic arcade game Asteroids improved with new features, like a number of different enemies and bosses, powerful abilities, use items and power-ups. See how long you can survive in an unending fight against hordes of hostile aliens and enemy bosses. Fight through different stages, collect power-ups to improve your ship, use mighty use items to clear the screen of any enemies, but whatever you do never let your shields deplete.
Developer Comment
Aliens & Asteroids is a hobby project of mine. Everything except the music was created by me. I hope all of you will enjoy my game and have a good time playing it. If you find any bugs or encounter any problems feel free to contact me at any time and I hope I can help you. I plan to support and add to Aliens & Asteroids for quite a while. (Further items, enemies, stages and bosses)

- 4 difficult Bosses
- 5 different enemy types with stronger elite versions
- Powerful abilities
- Unlockable Power-ups and Useitems
- 4 Stages

Chaotic, and most importantly : fun ! Works great, lots of power-ups, worth your time and money if you like space shooters that are going insane and throw ten thousands of enemies at you at the end because you won't die :32 found this helpful
https://youtu.be/WxWOhpL0kGY Walking a fine line of complexity, 'Aliens&Asteroids' lands just right for a simple space shooter. A variety of enemies and power-ups keep everything just fresh enough to push players for one more go.1 found this helpful
The game is quite challenging, the controls are awkward, and collectables behave very strangely
Pros: - It's fun. - Your ship has 3 unlimited uses active abilities. - Many powerups (most of them unlockables). Cons: - Too grindy to get gems to unlock powerups. - Difficult to aim correctly. - Only 1 ship you can use. I liked it even when I also played (and beat) Bit Blaster XL (Aliens & Asteroids has more content). I give it a 7.5/10.
Usually the $1 and under games I buy on Steam are at least somewhat disappointing. I am happy to say that this game was an exception. Not only does the game have a LOT of replayability over time due to its arcade shoot 'em up style, but it's actually well-built and fairly well-designed, especially considering how simple the pieces that make it up are. The game itself is also fairly challenging to go far in at the beginning, but if you keep playing it, the game slowly rewards you with an in-game currency that can be used to purchase more boosts/weapons that drop during your game. The nice thing is that these are not permanent upgrades to your ship, but rather drops that you must collect as you destroy the enemies. Furthermore, the achievements available for the game will take time to acquire. I've played the game for about 4 hours, and while I did get most of them, I can tell that some are still a ways away. So, long story short, I say buy the game if you like shoot 'em ups and don't mind the simple art/design (kind of like a mix of old arcade games and old online flash games). You won't regret the purchase, and you'll get a game you can revisit whenever you want to kill a little …
This game is really hard, but also good. I really recommend this for people that enjoy classic space shooters, but also looking for something different.
