Asdivine Sage is a straightforward JRPG that players find entertaining but lacking in originality and challenge. The game features a simple story, easy combat that can mostly be handled with auto-fight, and repetitive dungeons and music, though some appreciate its accessible nature and decent length. Major criticisms include heavy borrowing from Final Fantasy designs, minimal difficulty even at higher levels, poor translation quality, and an overall sense of boredom despite the developer's reputation for surprising players.
I played many of the games from this dev. But they can still surprise me. Asdivine Sage is such an surprise. OK, I must confess that I played a real JRPG before this game. Maybe my expectations were just too high. In the end....this is one of the most boring games I played!!! The story is generic. The only good part is that you can fast forward the usual pointless babble. The gameplay without any surprises. The difficult is slightly higher than opening a bag of chips...I mean after a short intruductions I played this with autofight and only seldom switched to manually giving commands. Another hint is that before I played it for more than 2 hours my characters were over level 80. So what do you get: Save the world running around simple dungeons. Fight in an arena for guild points. Earn special coins (after every 3 fights you get 10) for an special shop. Oh, and you can do guild missions....very exciting ones like mail delivery...for a few guild points. And some NPC will give you an simple quest. For nearly everything you do you'll collect awards and items. Don't waste your money this is just another example for shovelware.15 found this helpful
A fun little game by kemco following the life of a merc, ninja, and oddly two princesses that save the world. The game is balanced and a decent length cant be beaten in one day through if you put the nose to the grindstone.6 found this helpful

This game tries so hard to be Final Fantasy it's funny, even to the point of straight up ripping off designs and items from the franchise. I mean, Ultima Sword? Seriously? Heal Materia? Celes? Buster Sword???? How did they not get a lawsuit? And let's not ignore the fact that Vyse and Axel are basically Cloud and Sephiroth recolored. Aside from the plagiarism, the game is very boring, the story is almost nonsensical, the soundtrack has like 10 songs that are not bad but get sickening after listening to them for the 50th time in a row, it has a very limited number of tiles so all dungeons and villages look the same, the trust system is near useless, the overworld is empty to the point of being uncanny and the translation is clearly made by someone who does NOT speak english very well. As for the qualities, the combat can be fun, most RPGs I play are frustratingly easy and this one at least has multiple difficulty options. The art is competent, but it gets dragged down by the way the world was designed. The weapon upgrade system is fun too, but doesn't get too complex. And I know this is a remake of a much older game released for mobile phones before the smartphone was even…2 found this helpful
