Astro Sentai Jarbonder

Astro Sentai Jarbonder is a free to play 2D retro pixel arcade bullet hell/shoot 'em up with a sci-fi theme. Fly a little spaceship continually to the right, shoot the bad guys and dodge the bullets. If this is flipped from a construction kit/template, I'm not sure which one was used, so although this has the same qualities as a construction kit template flip, I'll give it the full review. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. Got up to the very end of the 4th level, but didn't beat it. Yeah this game is quite a challenge alright! EDIT: Actually beat the whole game now!

So fun to play, get your controller and start playing this game.

Extremely challenging space shooter, highly recommended if you aren't prone to rage quits.
