The ultra-refined 2D side-scrolling action you remember from "Azure Striker Gunvolt" is recharged and better than ever!
Players take command of Gunvolt and make short work of enemies using his high-speed techniques and command of electricity just like before, but in Gunvolt 2, a new character joins the fray! As Copen, slam into enemies to lock on to them, then unleash a flurry of devastating homing shots to obliterate foes. Copen can also take to the skies using his "Bullit Dash" for extra mobility, and copy the abilities of defeated bosses to expand his arsenal.
The "Story Mode+" system, which showcases interactions between characters during the action, returns alongside over 20 songs performed by the virtual pop star, "The Muse"! To top it off, all of the game's DLC is included!

Does slightly better as a port unlike the first, but controls can be abit mixed up sometimes. As a sequel? It properly ups the ante I feel. Better level design, better bosses, better gameplay especially with the inclusion of Copen's faster paced play style. Story is weird, someone turns into a loli, a robot turns into a anime girl. Seems about right.

Разработчики добавили второго персонажа и не просто с другим оружием, а концептуально совершенно нового героя с совершенно другими механиками. Но ощущается игра хуже первой части. Уровни не запоминаются, разве что кроме морозного. Концепция и исполнение уровней хуже первой части. Сложность слишком простая, будто сделана для совсем маленьких детей. Игра не предоставляет челленджа. Надеюсь, третья часть будет лучше и подарит тот игровой опыт, который я получил в первой игре, увидимся в рецензии под ней. I've 100%'d this game twice before, and I was more than happy to again. This is one game I ALWAYS come back to, it's been a top favorite of mine ever since I played the original version back on the 3DS.
i waited 2 years for this game to come out on 3ds and it was amazing then. the 4 year wait for this game to come to steam was agonizing, but this game was absolutely worth the wait. easily one of the best platformers that ive ever played.
