About Battle For The Sun
Battle for the Sun is an action-packed, first-person shooter documenting the realities of war seen through the eyes of a special forces soldier in a world under alien attack. We find ourselves abruptly thrown into an adventure as a talented soldier carrying out his duty in this epic war.
4 years ago, army alien experiments conducted by the National Army Space Research (NASR) in Area 52 provoked an unexpected disaster. An alien, captured by NASR soldiers for experimentation and research, found a way to escape and plead for help from its home planet. Alien attacks that first began as revenge over time morphed into a systematic occupation that became a threat to human life. Our hero, Dylan; in order to save his family, country, and planet decides to take part in this war. His superior skills were not unnoticed by General Briggs so, after grueling training, Dylan joins the special forces. He goes on to become one of the most important men carrying out strategic missions. While enmeshed in the horror of war Dylan's camaraderie, loyalty and virtue will be tested.

my current speedrun time for this is 43 mins and 17 secs. category: speedrun all glitches and exploits rules: skip intro cutscene. don't skip any other cutscenes or loading screens. assign points however you like. all glitches or exploits you find can and should be used to your advantage. friend request me if interestet. i think i'm the only speedrunner for this game so i claim to have the WR otherwise this is a unpolished game very hard. but it is good. especially with only 3 people making it. i like it.2 found this helpful

Positives: + Never once crashed, froze, got stuck, or had a game halting bug. + Cheesy, B-movie story and dialogue. + Decent guns and gameplay. Negatives: - Kind of basic gunplay and enemy AI. - Sound balance is bad, especially in dialogue. - Level 3 goes on a bit long and gets a bit samey; Should have been split up or ended earlier. Honestly though, and as dirty as this makes me feel, I kind of recommend Battle for the Sun. It's basic, corny, and stupid. But it all functions without any major bugs or balance issues, and it's B-movie story is so bad it's good. If you can pick it up for a couple bucks, it's worth a stupidly entertaining evening.

Game is a bit funny due to it's bad nature animations, graphics, gameplay, level design It is playable from start to end, but it's only value is to keep you distracted for a few hours Similar to getting drunk
