The air is thick with insect life, and this bear's going to get their honey by any means necessary! A tate shump by Yoshida Hiroaki (吉田博昭) of Studio Cotori and the studio's first game on Steam, Bear Shooter provides a modest challenge to players with five levels of shooting through waves of giant bugs! The patterns themselves are a bit scattershot and most enemies go down in one hit, with some notable exceptions. One specific enemy type that's likely to give you trouble is the bat, who moves slow and takes a lot of hits but also gives smaller and more dangerous enemies to punish un-cautious playing. The bosses themselves are straightforward to beat, usually requiring micro-dodging to deal with effectively. I had a good time with this, and I believe you will too!
