Booster Trooper Pros- #1. Cheap Only $2 full price #2.Multiplayer with friends Allegedly this still works. #3.The graphics are ok for how old/cheap it is Cons - #1.Multiplayer is dead unless they on your friends list #2.Some weapons are not fun/good to use #3.You probably will get bored after 20 mins max playing bots #4.The aiming in the game is harder and some might hate this The Bottom Line - It is like a cheap version of Super Smash Bros/Unreal Tournament deathmatch style. It is a cool game for what it offers but buy the 4 pack and try it with friends. As a single player game there might be 5 out of 100 people that would really like it as is.I like it but after 20 mins I would rather play something else but I do not care enough to buy the 4 pack to try with others. Thumbs up though.1 found this helpful
First steam game I added. Not a good game but still.
Unremarkable even at its price tag. Online is dead so you're left with only bot matches, which are not fantastic.
It was ok.
Booster Trooper is a game with 20-30 mins of content, and about 200 hours of "achievements" if you don't use some kind of trick to speed that up. Under normal circumstances, I'd say the game was average and tolerable - because that's what it's actual gameplay is, average. Tolerable. Decent. It doesn't do anything groundbreaking, or anything terrible. It functions. That's the nicest thing I can say about it. What bothers me most, what pisses me off, is the level of grind required for the asinine achievements this game has: AKA, the only reason anyone would put more than maybe an hour into this shallow game The numbers are obscene. Without downloading the special CTF map, kill achievements will take hours. Win achievements are even worse, the most time-consuming one requring *ten thousand* wins. IN my experience, without speeding up, the fastest win I had was about 45 seconds, and that's with about 30 seconds of unskippable waiting time. That's 450,000 seconds, or if you prefer, 7500 minutes. That's 125 *hours* for *one* achievment that, it's important to note, should be obtained *before* the achievements relating to getting 1000 wins in each of the five game modes, because if you…
A buggy, broken, dead mess.
