About Borealis
Borealis is a Zen game focused on measured motion and planning, rather than swift action.
The goal is simple: don't get hit. You have no weapons to fight back though. That would be too easy. In fact, you can't even move very fast. Your only way through is to guide the incoming waves into each-other through subtle and careful shifts. Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent, after all. Better to guide your opponent into destroying itself.
The game is composed of many environments, each of which has a unique style and set of missiles, as well as its own sound profile. Each will require a different strategy, and produces more interesting types of missiles as you advance. All of this is done to a procedurally-generated soundtrack that is completely driven by what happens in the game.
Features:
Three gameplay modes: Survival, Score run, and Endless Many different moods, which each represent a massive change in gameplay Completely procedurally generated, with incredible replay value Known to induce meditation-like trances in monkeys* *Not actually tested, results may vary.
Borealis
Spacedot A very simple time killer with generated music. You assume the role of a white dot in space and have to carefully manoeuvre your way around a series of comets and meteors without getting hit or its game over. This is the sort of game you would have played on your ATARI 400 back in the day so don't expect detailed graphics or complex game mechanics. Game comes with three modes (survival, time challenge, endless) but I found it too simple and boring to sustain much interest. I guess if you are looking for something zen-like or perhaps a palate cleanser between other games you could try this one but in all honesty there are far better zen games out there to be spending your hard earned dollar and time on.
One word or phrase to sum up the experience
Simple and boring.
Performance/Bug related incidents
None experienced during my playthrough.
Similar to games
MusicWave, Freefall, Stanga
Rating ★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=8694551356 found this helpful

I wanted space epic — got a screensaver with existential dread. Every click feels like begging an iceberg for a joke. Audio sounds like a TV tuned to a dead galaxy. 2/10.
It's bugged half the time and a visual nightmare. It was neat maybe in 2014 but not nowadays.
would love to meet the person who thought turning off mouse sensitivity to make the game harder was a good idea
You play as a dot and dodge stuff that flies toward you, sometimes in a pattern. The soundtrack is nice, and there's a little variety in visuals, but $5 is a rip-off. This would have made for a fun Flash game back in the day though.
