I really wish I could recommend this game. If I could give a middling review, I would, but I gotta edge towards slightly negative on this one. Conceptually, you got a great game. You play a cute little data courier robot named Boti, accompanied by two smaller bots named One and Zero, who handle all communication in the game, since Boti is mute. Your goal is to overclock the system of the computer world you live in, and then figure out why a lot of problems cropped up as a result. What you have here is your typical enough linear 3D platformer, with side paths to take to get bonus goodies like currency, data logs, and extra costumes. You go through various different worlds, all corresponding to different parts of the computer, CPU, Network Adapter, GPU, PSU, etc. Reminds me very much of Astro's Playroom on PS5. You have some really good art design for these areas, and some decent music to go along with it, though nothing that ended up being an earworm. Unfortunately, that's about where my praise ends. Physics-wise, Boti feels a bit on the heavy side when jumping, and it just doesn't feel all that satisfying, as a result. Doesn't help that the physics feel a bit janky at times, esp…

Let's be honest this game is nothing new or phenomenal. You get a cute robot character in a cute world with forced in co-op and fluid mechanics. Requires a little bit of skill in later levels but nothing a child couldnt handle. For a grown up this game is boring but it is a nice game to play with your younger family member and a good game to get them familiarized with a controller. No regrets buying it as it was only 1.75 on fanatical but if I paid full price it would have been thumbs down.

The game itself is good. good story, gameplay, interesting characters. The problems are sudden force shutdowns while in the game and horrible lag while playing co-op. We also encountered a bug while trying to beat the trojan horse. We had to redo atleast 4 times to get rid of the bug. Overall its a good game. Hope the devs fix the bugs.

I wanted so bad for this to be a tenth as good as Astro Bot and it...Gets most of the way there. It is a lot of the same fun, but nothing will ever beat the polish of Astro Bot. I think it's largely an unfair comparison. This game is fun and I really enjoy it so far. I haven't checked out the co-op yet, but I'm excited to check it out when my Steam Machine gets in. Could end up being a really fun couch co-op game with my girl!

Went into the game with 0 expectations, but the visuals and character design got me interested in the game. Shame that's where the positives for me end with this game. Contrary to most of the reviews, I didn't experience a single crash during my time (I assume that's because the game's been patched to hell and back to be more stable), but a few other aspects of the game unfortunately didn't leave a very good impression for me. Character design is great, Boti themself is cute. Zero and One are also neat, if they don't constantly try to chatter even when you're idle. Appreciate the toggle to turn them off completely, but a Chatter Frequency slider would probably feel better. This was my first Collectathon experience and the length of the first level had me slightly intimidated with how large and long the later stages could even be. It does seem like the levels were built with Boti's controls in mind though. Speaking of which, they're really tight, which is always a nice thing. Boti sinking a bit too fast feels a bit too much for me however. The game certainly looks cute and interesting, but unfortunately it felt a little boring to me. Perhaps it could turn out to be more in…
