About Brutal Orchestra
Hieronymus Bosch's Brutal Orchestra is a Turn-Based Roguelike Strategy Game with resource management and deck-building elements. Employ the help of damaged and daring fools, equip ancient and insidious items and make deals with the devil on your path to revenge.
Revenge:
You died. Someone killed you. You are now in Purgatory and you will never escape. Make a deal with the "demon" Bosch and set off into this brutal and bastardous world, finding all manner of demented and degenerate friends and foes on your quest to get petty revenge.
Pigment:
Purgatory bleeds pigment. It is a strange substance that Bosch has granted you the ability to control. Channeling pigment allows one to perform powerful and absurd abilities. Pigment comes in many colours, each derived from a different source, some even of your own flesh.
Fools:
This may be a place of the dead but even here there are still poor fools eking out a pathetic existence. Some would make for valuable party members or at least entertaining conversation. Most, however, are dim wits or damaged beyond all reason.
Treasure!:
Find over 100+ powerful artifacts that dramatically shape how you play Brutal Orchestra, often plucked directly from the artworks of Hieronymus Bosch.
Hell:
Purgatory is not a gentle place, it is a writhing dump of all that has died in many worlds. Endless deserts of pale sand are stalked by parasitic fish. Storm-cloaked mountain tops hide ungodly things above and below. The Garden waits for you at the end of time.
Hieronymus Bosch's Brutal Orchestra was developed by Talia bob Mair and Nicolás Delgado. With Sound Design by Pato Flores and Chris Dang and Composed by Publio Delgado.

I'm sick of people labeling games roguelikes that are not roguelikes. This isn't a roguelike, it also isn't a roguelite. It's something else. Words have meaning but try telling that to people in 2026 where no one gives a ♥♥♥♥ what meaning things have anymore. I'm also sick of games that mandate failure until you unlock enough of the drip-fed content to randomly be rewarded with a victory. There is no strategy to that, it's just lazy game design done by developers that lack the game sense to design real challenge that rewards skill or planning, but there is very little room for skill when you have to coast on the back of RNG. I don't play games to have the outcomes decided for me thanks, when I lose it's because I actually made a mistake, not because a program generated an unfavourable output string I had nothing to do with. If I didn't get this in a bundle I'd have refunded it.4 found this helpful

Brutal Orchestra is one of the only games that I'd whole heartedly call a masterpiece. I could not tell you one thing I dislike about this game, everything from its combat to music to story is amazing. The combat is the single best turn based combat system I've ever seen, it makes you think about every move and be on edge everytime you finish your turn while being as fair as possible. The music is amazing and the visuals certainly arent for everyone but I love them and the story may be short but its still beautiful. This is one of the best games I've ever played, I definetly recommend it.
One of the most imaginative games of its kind, that I've played. It's sad that it's not far more popular. It reminds me of Inscryption, but with better gameplay.
A seriously fun roguelike with an addictive gameplay loop, nice challenge, and good writing despite the game not being wordy at all.
Easy to learn, hard to master. Weirdly emotional, with very dry humour. Get amongst the cacophony
