About Bugspeed Collider

Some bugs just want to watch the world burn. Bugspeed Collider lets you take on the role of a supercharged kung-fu beetle in a variety of satisfyingly cataclysmic confrontations.

You can fight any way you want. Want to fly? Of course, you're a bug. Death from above! Want a more earthly approach? Stay grounded and enjoy a wealth of defensive benefits. When (if) you get tired of smashing your foes in the face, take a step back and throw some high-charged bolts of pure beetle fury. Of course, you could just bypass all that and fight the world itself. All terrain is fully destructible. Enjoy!

Whether you're a lone badass or a whole team of badasses, Bugspeed's got you covered. We have enough singleplayer challenges and AI enemies to keep even the most bloodthirsty bug satisfied. We also have a whole slew of options should you be more into the local multiplayer chaos scene. 1-4 players, with plenty of explosions to spare.

✦ AI summary

Bugspeed Collider is praised by fans as a fun local multiplayer game with flying mechanics and environmental destruction, drawing comparisons to Smash Bros and Towerfall, and features both single-player and co-op campaign options. However, potential players should be aware that the controls are unintuitive and require a significant learning curve, making it less accessible for casual players who want to jump in quickly without practice.

If you like playing games with a couch full of friends you're going to love Bugspeed Collider. Imagine Towerfall but you can fly. Or imagine Smash Bros but you can destroy everything in the environment. Obviously those comparisons are only scratching the surface of what makes this game great, but if that sounds appealing you owe it to yourself to check out Bugspeed Collider!

Bugspeed Collider is an amazing game where you play as a really powerful beetle and beat the tar out of other, equally powerful beetles. It's great for either single player or local multiplayer, as the single player campaign is challenging and will improve your skills, while the multiplayer pits you against your friends. The single player campaign is also a co-op campaign, and you can challenge the levels and bosses with your friends. Plus, you can play the game upside-down if you want. All in all, a great deal for only $5.

This game is great for those who are a fan of the smash brothers franchise, and it's best to use a controller with it if you can.

I wanted to like this game but I can't get past the controls. Just playing through the tutorial was finicky. Since the controls are unintuitive and cumbersome it's not good for a casual multiplayer game. Someone compared it to smash bros. I guess that's a good way to look at it. I was looking for a more casual game that new players could jump right into and understand. If your friends want to spend time to acclimate to the unique controls and mechanics you may enjoy it. I can tell the developer cared about the game, but it just wasn't for me or my friends.
