"Burndown" is a clunky and unpolished attempt at making a PvP vehicle combat game, and while the game has nice graphical assets and looks okay, it was a paid product in a poorly finished state... competing with hundreds of better, more free PvP games. The developers dropped the price but it wasn't enough. Without single player content, PvP only games fail hard if they don't reach critical mass. Developers must learn that "PvP" is not a substitute for doing their jobs and creating interactive content. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $1 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Ev…
