This is not bad at all for a free game. The combat is simplistic, but fun. It looks like a student made game so there's not a lot of depth, and it doesn't appear you can win since I got checkmarks on all the maps and nothing happened. Still, it's pretty fun to run around shooting robots.

fun game i enjoyed shooting robots and killing them i will say there should be a voice slider because the voice is way too loud and i turned down music and sfx audios. i feel like the power scaling is too quick to where at like round 5 on factory i was one shotting the robots with the k-pistol.

Can Strike is a small indie action title developed and published by Day Dream Studios that blends arcade-style shooting with a humorous and slightly satirical premise centered around labor conflict and corporate automation. The game places players in the shoes of a striking worker who suddenly finds themselves fighting against waves of robotic forces deployed by the fictional corporation Fish Co. Rather than negotiating with employees or addressing worker grievances, the company has chosen a far more aggressive approach—sending machines to suppress the strike. This tongue-in-cheek narrative framing sets the tone for the entire experience, presenting the player’s fight not just as a simple battle for survival but as a rebellious pushback against an absurdly hostile corporate response. While the story is mostly conveyed through the game’s setup rather than detailed dialogue or cutscenes, the premise adds a quirky layer of personality that helps the game stand out among the many small arcade shooters available on Steam. At its core, Can Strike is a wave-based first-person shooter focused on survival and reflex-driven combat. The player must defend themselves against increasingly diff…

I think this is really cool, and it gets a lot of things right but just can't recommend it because the most important aspects of a game like this are the movement and the shooting - and both are lacking. The two weapons you get are enough, and both have their uses however I felt the shotgun to be a little too slow. It feels powerful enough to justify the amount of time between shots but it just doesn't work well when you've got the enemy ganging up on you, which their simplistic AI ensures will happen. They're not going to try and flank you, they've picked the shortest path straight to you and will come barrelling down it. This made the SMG feel a lot better to use in my opinion since I could take them out at a distance. The melee enemies aren't a threat at all, but the ranged ones are awful to deal with. Each hit you take does 10 points of damage out of 100 total HP, so while there's room to recover if you get slapped a few times you can't say the same thing when there are multiple ranged enemies shooting at you as you try to contend with the melee enemies. I recognise there's a skill issue at play as well, I'm not really into boomer shooters so I don't get a lot of practice, h…
