Castle Kong is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Donkey Kong (Copyright Nintendo, 1982). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. At this stage no legal action has been taken by Nintendo against the "developer" here, but it's never off the table, as previous copyright law cases have shown. Ironically Nintendo have allowed this game on Nintendo Switch, but it's still possible that legal action may be taken to shut this down. Stealing other people's ideas for profit is never okay. Putting aside the unethical intellectual bankruptcy of stealing someone else's game concept for profit, this is also breaking that unwritten law of stealing other people's game ideas... you should at least try to do better than the game you're ripping off. Castle Kong is considerably worse than Donkey Kong. Castle Kong didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. Визуально игра выполнена в стильной пиксельной графике, которая вызывает приятную ностальгию, но при этом выглядит свежо и аккуратно. Музыкальное сопровождение отлично дополняет атмосферу, делая прохождение еще более увлекательным. Castle Kong – это отличный выбор как для ветеранов жанра, так и для новичков, желающих окунуться в мир классических приключений с современной подачей.

well, i thought about this game.. and i said.. "hey what was that one donkey kong like game i played?" well i found the demo, thinking to myself, well i kind of forgot about it, if it's decent i'll buy it.. so i reinstalled the demo to check it out.. "cannot connect to server" I'm willing to buy the game, but now i'm afraid if i give them money, I still won't be able to play it.. so.... i won't. not trolling, i'd like to give you money. make it happen

While this game was fun while it worked... it doesn't anymore. It tries to connect to a server (some form of DRM, I suppose), fails, and just displays a message saying you need to check your internet connection. It's currently unplayable.

Tried to play this for four months. It never gets started as it gets stuck with the loading screen. Contacted the developer (others also) on their discord and they promised to resolve in a few days... repeated this monthly for 3 months now, no action.. This game is dead, should be removed from Steam.
