Great Game. It is hard to stop playing :-D

Very fun cycle with a lot of different playstyles. Trying the different classes can make the game so fun to play and the combos are endless, you have the freedom to throw stuff together, and most of the time make it work. Definitely worth a grab, even it its just for all the achievements.

Coal LLC's gameplay loop in a nutshell: -Mine for coal to meet a daily timed quota -Mine precious ores and stones -Get a dopamine rush from seeing said little bits of ore and gems being mined out and falling into your grubby mitts -Open underground chests that give you bonuses to anything you do -Get paid for what you dug up -Hire employees, buy new tools ranging from ladders, platforms, to mining explosives, to standard pickaxes, to literal miniguns, poison spitters, and flamethrowers -Buy upgrades that last until the run ends -Observe the consequences of your actions... -Get addicted to the loop and lose hours of your time -Write a review about how easily you got addicted and recommend it to others Truly, a wonderful, simple game that I found relaxing in spite of a time limit per in-game day to meet a quota. If you like seeing numbers go up as you make monumental amounts of money, breaking rocks, and collecting ores and gems with various traditional and unorthodox methods, this game is for you. 10/10, would absolutely recommend to those that like these kind of mining games.

A silly looking game with an interesting meta. If you are used to incremental games, then you'll have an understanding on how base + multipliers can grow very quickly. Terraria/Minecraft ideas, you must be able to get back to your stockpile to drop off your supplies. Carefully deciding if to mine downwards, or outwards, balancing the right amount of collectors and knowing when to upgrade your weapon. The game could use a re-balance to make it so you don't have to rely on the pickaxe and chest spamming to get to Onyx. Unless i misunderstood and missed a game mechanic. Ideas: - Drones that follow the player and attack/collect tiles - Ability to order where to dig to for workers. The whistle doesn't let you control exactly what to do, so miners end up hitting the wrong blocks - Future tech, UFOs, lasers, non-consumable turrets - More use for consumables. I found they aren't useful past mid game. - A UI stat to know coal per second/cash per second
