Conviction (2026)

Short, simple boomer shooter. Took me like 1h to finish all levels and two bonus levels. It's not hard and doesn't have any difficulty options. You only have 4 weapons but I mainly used axe and shotgun (thank ♥♥♥♥ it's actually good, can oneshot anything from close distance). Pacing-wise it's actually quite fast, you move fast and you can quickly kill your enemies. There's not much depth to mechanics though, and there's literally only 4 enemies in entire game. :/ Ig that's fine since game is quite short, but still.

Im kinda sad, there is not more to the game at the moment. It is fun, their is some little issues here and there, nothing major. I hope at some point you can finish this game, cause I want to finish it too ! PRO: "Game gave me a raging hard-on" CON: "Multiple OSHA violations" exemple no railing, open flames, boxes everywhere !

A short horror shooter with cool music and gritty atmosphere. This used to be a negative review, but the latest patch brought massive improvements to the gunplay, and even added a new monster, so now I can honestly recommend it. Good job!

this is a pretty solid game, love the music, the levels, and the graphics are stylized so it looks sick imo

This game defenitly pleasently suprised me for the Price its really good and i only encountered 2 bugs in a hour of gameplay thats less than cyberpunk 2077 ! But genuily this game has great potential i am praying that this game gets a dlc/more levels (sorry if my grammar is bad). PS: this games soundtrack is PEAK

its a fine game, id probably give it a 6/10. plenty to enjoy. its short, and kinda sweet, but honestly there are just some small things that really stuck out as sore points when playing. my main gripe is the aim limit, where there was a hard lock on how high you can look. now for this game i wouldnt even have brought it up, except, theres an enemy that moves slightly slower than you, and tries to fly directly over your head. meaning that with the lock on how high you can aim, you can only move to try and get them to a point where you can shoot them. which i found rather annoying instead of just looking up and shooting them. the second thing is the ax, it feels like it should have an aoe. as the axe is right now, you have to aim perfectly on the enemies to hit them with it, which given the axes swinging animation, feels rather odd. it took me about 5 levels to realize that was the reason why my ax was only sometimes killing the enemies i was swinging at. overall its a fine game, its short, but rather enjoyable, even with a few gripes.
