really good game if you like quake youll like it. its different enough from the first one but still the same vibe.pretty good story if you care about it same as doom where its there if you want it but not up your ass about it overall 9/10 probably in my top 20
70/100. Good game to play. Yeah, it's not masterpiece but... fun.
If you were to put a gun to my head and ask me if I enjoyed it i'd say yes reluctantly but there are SO MANY places this could improve. Most aggravatingly several levels are easy to get lost in like the basement and egypt (without a map) turning 10 minutes into half an hour, there is far too much of a reliance on "monster closets" to spawn enemies, you will CONSTANTLY run out of ammo because you could hold less than 3 reloads worth at a time even with maxed out carrying capacity, and health is far too sparsely laid about. Worse yet because you're frantically running around there is absolutely NO CHANCE to admire the absolutely beautiful monster design. And the fact that the entire game ends on a "IT WAS ALL IN LE HEAD OOOOOO" with almost zilch explanation just makes it feel like this goes out on a wet fart
better than the first one
A huge improvement to the first game. The gunplay already feels better, the upgrades seem diverse, and the variety of weapons are going to be fun to test out.
An enjoyable boomer shooter with a cool asthetic and great soundtrack.
