Some say the old train station and hotel are a 'haunted hotspot', hidden away in the woods, forgotten by some, feared by others. The old hallways and train platforms echo with the ghosts of many eras, all trapped within the very fabric of the place, each hoping for salvation. The dusty old rooms seem possessed, exhibiting 'time slips' as the past becomes the present. You must tread very carefully, or you too many join the Lost Souls forever. So, why are you here?
Amy Haven went missing 5 Years ago. On the anniversary of the child's disappearance you, the Police Inspector who failed to find her, has returned to the Train Station and Hotel one last time. As you attempt to solve the mystery of Amy's disappearance you must face the horrors of your past. Someone, or something, does not want you to solve the mystery, that much is clear. Never turn your back on the darkness....for something hides there; something evil, unknowable and hungry.

I played first two Dark Fall games and enjoyed them both quite a lot, but this game is nothing like them. If I did not already have a connection to this series I would put this game down pretty fast. But this game takes place in the same environment as first game (my favorite from series so far) and I really wanted to see how everything looks and what is the new story about so I suffered through this. I liked that some characters from first game were also featured here. The game is newer and and it aged better than its predecessors when it comes to visuals. I did not really like the voice acting, esp. the main protagonist. I find the story confusing, it ended quite suddenly and it felt like that none of the endings was a good one. Tense atmosphere from first game was replaced by gore. Environment is not just grimy, but also filled with blood, mannequins, rusty scissors, syringes and many other unpleasant things. There are also jumpscares. Same as in previous games also here you will need to make notes or even better take screenshots. And highly likely you will also need a walkthrough (there is one in Steam Guides). It is very easy to overlook that you can go somewhere or interact…3 found this helpful

Saving doesn't work for me.
my computer has all the right requirements and then some and i could never play it. the cursor never came back after the first scene, no keys do anything. this is lost money ...
dnf. As a relic of games gone By, this gAme is interesting enough but I personally cannot recommenD playinG At all it in ModErn day. ITs age IS on full display with all the clashes between modern hardware and 2010s indie games. Be it the slow camera turn as you point and click around, the janky animations that never end, or the outright bugs which prevent puzzles from completing, I cannot recommend it. There are so many other games which execute on the same idea in a much more interesting way. If you miss old point and click games from websites like AddictingGames then this might feel like a scaled up version of that which is what kept me trying with it for so long. And if you can get this game on sale for a buck or in a HumbleBundle with the games you actually wanted (like I did) maybe its worth a try. But ultimately my limit was at the 1.5 hour mark when the game's age collapsed in on itself. I learned train codes for you INSPECTOR! You showed me your train signal turning on INSPECTOR! Why didn't it stay on INSPECTOR?!
