Subtle spoilers ahead, though I tried to mitigate it to talk about the game without revealing anything that specifically happens. DashBored, even with it's jank in some areas of the game, was genuinely worth every minute I played, I had been streaming with my girlfriend the first time I played, going in entirely blind, and when I would say something in reaction to something that had happened, I would proceed the dialogue and it would be the EXACT thing Nicolas said word for word, happened three separate times, both infuriated and amused me how similar I was to the guy. Beyond that humorous account, Nicolas' story arc hit incredibly close to home for me, feeling hopeless, isolating yourself from everyone around you and especially the monologues in both the city ending and the bad ending were incredibly gut-wrenching because of how much I related to Nicolas' feelings of inadequacy. The locations are fun, the story is definitely memorable and worth experiencing, and most of all the characters are SO fun. I don't usually enjoy story games with lots of dialogue, but I sat through ALL of it in this one because I wanted to hear what the characters had to say! I don't have very many critiques. The game has its fair share of missable content, which I personally dislike in RPGs like this as it can feel slow to play through again to see the things you missed, but that's just my opinion and most RPGs have that! The combat was also very easy. I found that as I went to side areas and levelled up, I quickly outleveled th…
