About DeadCore
✦ AI summary
Climb a massive tower filled with deadly lasers, robots, and complex mechanisms while uncovering the mystery of your past using parkour skills and a versatile SwitchGun. Explore interconnected levels packed with secrets, unlock new abilities, compete on leaderboards, and piece together the story through recovered memory fragments.
After an endless fall through powerful magnetic storms... you awaken.
Your memory erased, you start exploring the world around you. Someone or something is pushing you higher and higher.
Suddenly, you spot the most gigantic Tower emerging from the mists. You soon understand that to get the answers to your questions... you have to climb its summit.
However, this is no easy feat. The Tower is protected by a high-tec
h security system made up of complex mechanisms, fatal lasers, and robots constantly tracking your every move.
If you are to survive, you'll need to use all your skills (jumping, double-jumping, dashing etc. ) and make good use of your SwitchGun, that can be used to enable or disable traps and robots in order to reach the top of the Tower and uncover the secrets of its origins.

very cool on casual playthrough or new game+ speed game!
game suffer from stutter. A redux version has been released. probably better to play that one.
An amazing first person parkour game that I highly recommend
DeadCore

Time Played:
18.5 hours
Last Played:
14th of March, 2016

Seeing as how unique this looked, and fun the gameplay I found online seemed (to state nothing of the sale), I grabbed this without hesitation on the same day as Antichamber. Much like that game, this one left a void in my being on doing everything within that only time covered, without filling.
Yay:
+ Art and aesthetics. + No combat + Abstract story + Hidden logs + Fluid movement + Clever puzzles + The HUD/UI being on the gun adds immersion. + Was unlike anything I'd played at the time, and I'm not thinking of anything comparabel. + Owner of Light was one of the rarest achievements I'd gotten when I did all those years ago + I also figured everything out on my own, adding even more sentimental value to this.
Meh:
~ Nothing remembered
Nay:
- See above. I remember this being a delight from start to finish for me.

Verdict:
I don't remember the exact moment I realised this was one of the best things I'd ever played, but the fact I cannot remember even one aspect that…
Hit exit game and it just removed the menu and showed a loop of the background animation. I waited long enough to specifically be able to leave a negative review.
excellent jeu ave quelques bug mais sans importance si tu ne speedrun pas
