A decent runner game that has a good hand full of levels increasing in difficulty with ramps changing position, flying rocks, lava circles, and lava strips on the ground you need to dodge. Death Runner is yet another of several hundred, if not thousands of garbage low effort endless runners plaguing Steam. This one is notable for just how bad and incredibly lazy it is... the developer didn't even know how to do animations or anything complicated, so your "character" is just a cube. I've never seen such laziness in all my life. This is yet another reason why Valve needs QA for Steam. In terms of gameplay, like all endless/autorunners, you're moving and you can't stop. All you can do is avoid the obstacles coming at you in this incredibly shallow shovelware game. The game is very simplistic, small and limited in scope and ambition. This feels more like a tech demo, proof of concept or student homework assignment rather than a fully fledged product designed for PC gamers. As such it doesn't offer any real value as a serious PC game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality, in some places they appear mismatched... Ultimately the quality of these assets, and thus the overall visual quality is lower than average, and low quality always ma…

Death Runner is a game that has you play as a cube, constantly moving forward whilst dodging obstacles, like lava, asteroids or large pits. So it's like Subway Surfers or Temple Run, except with a drastic drop in quality. The game has 28 levels, 25 regular ones, and three special ones that have to be unlocked. For the first few levels, you don't even have to move. Yep, the level design is so bad that some levels require no user input. The later levels can provide some sort of challenge but it never gets too difficult or unforgiving. What I'm saying is, anyone can beat this game. The graphics are really unpleasant to look at and getting all the achievements requires you to replay some of the levels, which just feels so boring and repetitive. So really, this game doesn't really have anything going for it. I will say I did enjoy sliding off the ramps to gain air time, but that's just about the only positive thing I can mention about this game. If you're looking for a game like this, but actually good, just get the aforementioned games on your phone or something.

This is a solid runner game with a good variety of levels that progressively get harder. The difficulty increases with obstacles like moving ramps, flying rocks, lava circles, and strips on the ground that you need to dodge. It’s a fun, fast-paced game for anyone who enjoys a challenge, though it can get a bit intense as the levels progress. Definitely worth a try for fans of obstacle-avoiding games!
