How many reviews start with, "This game might not be for you..." or how many times have we heard, "It's an Early Access Game though." I sort of understand why Valve doesn't implement a "meh" or rating that sits between "Yes" and "No" - it almost forces you to really contemplate whether you want to recommend the game or not - well, for some of us it does. With that said, this is nowhere near a final review, but as I've now played about 10 hours I feel I should at least post something - especially as this game was a gift. First things first, let's discuss the balance...or lack of balance. My first play attempt was on the recommended (Survivalist) mode, and it did not go well: - Initially spawned into an area with no enemies and plenty of animals (cows, pigs, sheep, etc.) - Started gathering wood and plants, but had a hard time finding stone I could simply "pick-up" (cobblestone) - Eventually got enough stuff to start crafting tools, but nighttime came down with a loud thud - With no shelter erected and only a club for a weapon, I was one-shot by a level 5 skeleton shooting arrows - Respawned, ran to gather my dropped gear, and was chased by several mobs levels 2-to-5 the entire …

Best soundtrack I have heard in years. Give it some time and this game will blow up.

Seems to be a good game so far i dont see a dedicated Discord for the game to report bugs tho I would like to see multiplayer support aswell, even if its just coop option for 1 other player, but multiplayer in general for the game would in my opinion make the game even better, and more fun with friends. also, as of right now for this post, dont use Detailed Map in the settings as it will crash the game upon loading a world, had to find a discussion about that due to wanting to use everything to its max, but that one checkbox just up and crashes the game

Game is officially dead. No plans to continue early access or officially close out the Early Access. The game could have been fun, but really fell short on so many levels. Look for something else.

Its a good game however i hate the screen moving with the mouse id love the option to turn that off if i desire to. The survival is decent and the combat is a challenge but its awful with that screen scrolling.
