About Deep Siege

Deep Siege is a fast-paced, first-person endless wave shooter set in the depths of an underwater world. Step into the role of Akula, a fearless Atlantean warrior of sharkfolk descent, as you battle relentless hordes of mutated sea creatures threatening your home. Harness your Bloodthirst ability, which builds with kill streaks and features three tiers, granting different buffs or allowing you to heal yourself in the heat of battle.

Simple arenashooter. Not bad, but nothing special. In 10 minutes you've seen the whole game pretty much.

It's interesting, but far too simple in its current state : one weapon, one arena, a handful of enemies types. Have your fun !

"Deep Siege" is a weird one... I think maybe this is a student project? It's just a weird Creature From The Black Lagoon arena shooter where you're an underwater fish guy and you shoot underwater fish guys. The technical execution of this game is shallow and simplistic, just enough to tick the boxes required to get something (anything) published on Steam, rather than investing the huge amount of effort and budget needed to create a fully fledged, comprehensive, high quality product. It's a bit of a red flag for an asset flip, but there's no evidence or smoking gun in this case. While there's no proof, the overall low quality of the actual "game" part (an important part of the whole package that makes up a game) is indistinguishable from an asset flip, and no matter where the assets came from, the quality here is bad. I actually don't believe this is an asset flip despite the quality of the assets... this kind of feels like an asset creator made a bunch of assets but didn't know how to make a game that could use them properly but tr…

Game is really fun, it's practically an arcade style first person shooter game!
