Desk Space: Idle Spacefleet clicker

An incomplete game that should probably be free. The upgrade paths don't make sense. Some upgrades are essentially useless, and others can't be acquired until they're redundant. Upgrades are not adequately described, so you can't tell what the benefit will be from purchasing them. The game is also very short and lacking in depth. There's too much visual clutter but nothing really interesting happening.

It's fine. There's nothing special going on but it's not super expensive so it works itself out as a fun timesink. I will use this review to call out one of the things that upsets me endlessly, it will go into "idle" mode (removing all the UI elements and just moving around the system) wayyyy too fast. If I'm actively clicking on an upgrade it should not fade out the menu I am actively clicking on! Don't get me wrong I do like the idle mode, it's dynamic and seeing my ships move around is nice, but if I'm clicking on the game it should not STOP me from clicking on the game. Also, to get a bit pretentious and also do the faux paus of addressing other reviews, there's a lot of reviews expecting this game to be an incremental game. It's not. This is a pure idle game. You don't speed up exponentially as you buy upgrades, you speed up linearly. Almost all of my big jumps forward in progress are after a chunk of it running on a second monitor while I do chores or play another game and then returning to the game to upgrade. Its a fun idle game. It has some depth but not a ton. Easy to play and let run in the background.

This game feels like an Alpha Version. Full release? Way off. UI is bugged at higher resolutions, UI scale does not match between "Tutorial messages" and rest of UI.
