About Idle Space Navy
Your home world’s been raided one too many times. Perhaps there’s some resources the raiders want, or they just needed something to fight. Either way, you’ve had enough. You purchase an old, small command ship and take to the stars, buying whatever equipment you can get on the way. Your goal? To conquer and pacify the stars.
Idle Space Navy is an idle/incremental game currently in active development by Phoenix Aura, developed as a spiritual successor to Idle Space Raider and Transport Defender by Yaroslav ‘IDNoise’ Nikityshev with their permission. Assume command of your ship, patrol space, defeat enemies, collect resources, and increase your power by upgrading and purchasing ships, weapons, and more.
As of version 0.10.7, Idle Space Navy currently includes the following:
Use credits to upgrade the power of your ships, boosting their damage output. Refine scrap fragments into metal ingots in the Foundry, and upgrade even further or buy new items in the Shipyard. Reset to earn Calibration Chips, then use them to unlock and upgrade item types and boost your fleet through the Laboratory. Fit your ships with Modules to boost their performance over a short period. Automate boosting your active ships’ levels as well as that of your Shipyard upgrades. When you advance far enough, collect Artifact Fragments to trade with alien powers and boost your fleet even more! Earn daily rewards just for playing the game! Earn progress to keep your fleet advancing even when you're offline!

"Idle Space Navy" should not be confused with an interesting, deep, rich space based strategy game like Stellaris or GalCiv, even if it's trying to look like one. The "Idle" part gives it a way, this is a "watch the numbers go up" idler/incrementer where the goal is to make currency that you spend on making more currency... it's a tired premise to begin with, and this one is deep in development hell, having slipped past their deadline to complete the game a week or so ago, but more alarmingly, hasn't been updated in months. just click The developers abandoned this 9 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Not every "free" game really is, and the developers here seem to be aiming to …3 found this helpful
Don’t waste your time on this garbage. The people who left negative comments two years ago pointing out what needed fixing were absolutely right — and the worst part is, nothing has been improved. This is a typical pay-to-win game, designed so that you make zero progress unless you spend money on microtransactions to boost your stats. I saw a few developer responses to the criticism saying they’d fix things, but it looks like they never did — and never will. Don’t waste your time on this thing, because you’ll never get anywhere. After nearly 30 hours, I’m still going in circles. Every prestige level changes almost nothing, because the number of upgrade points you earn is tiny, and the prices are insanely high. There’s no way to gather enough points to notice any difference after spending them. You’re just stuck in place the whole time. Each prestige gives maybe 0.01% progress compared to the last — it’s absolute trash.
Same ships same level different guns but same dps, plus getting to lvl 100 slowed down instead of sped up after upgrading ships/guns/global dps. I imagine playing this would be the same as hitting your head against a wall.
I played the game rouglhy half hour. It seems funny but the interface is not responsive, trying to deploy a ship, but buttons get stuck, spend more time trying to understand how to make the interface to work than the idea of the game.
I was following the tutorial and couldn't get past "Deploy" first ship section of the tutorial. Broken. pity it looked like it was going to be a fun idle game
good idle game has some small bugs but saves often enough not to be a issue only thing is modules is a broken thing
