Solid deckbuilder that challenges but rarely seems unfair, with a decent roguelike power arc (very zero to hero) and card-based exploration mechanic. All four classes feel different and interesting to play. Despite being less animated than even Darkest Dungeon (which has its DNA here), art is very solid. (English) voice acting not as much, but the story isn't what should bring you to this game.

fun game

Fun! Has a pretty good Cthulu game feel. (I still love the boardgame Mansions of Madness) For me it captures some of the magic that StS did. I like roguelike deckbuilders and many others are good or fun but not fully both. This one is for me. Just successfully completed the campaign at 33 hours. Will probably keep playing the campaign to uncover more lore. (Played with DLC Rift of Sanity from the start. No idea how it plays w/out it)

I won't recommend this game until gamepad support and accesibility options are added. The developer found time to develop a paid DLC, yet somehow could not implement these.
