About Digital Diamond Baseball V14
Digital Diamond Baseball V14 is a statistically accurate baseball simulator and tabletop board game companion. The built-in game engine allows users to play games, series, tournaments, and entire seasons using players from any baseball season from 1919-2025. The board game companion feature allows users to manually play games using their favorite tabletop baseball game (digital Statis Pro baseball cards are included for all supported be seasons). Tabletop results can quickly be entered and integrated with the stats generated by the built-in game engine. The included seasons contain as-played lineups, real-life schedules and transactions, left/right splits (1919-2025), custom player ratings (1954-2025), and ballparks (park factors and over 40 ballpark images included). In addition, you can utilize the easy to use player library tools to customize your libraries by adding player pictures, logos, sounds, and custom play-by-play calls. You can also quickly and easily build your own custom seasons from scratch using team/players from any year in history!

Updated from version 12 to version 14 recently. Logged nearly 1,000 hours in version 12. I'm enjoying all of the new upgrades in V14. I really like the Statis Pro Advanced Board Game companion and the ability to simulate games using the Statis Pro Advanced engine.4 found this helpful
I am enjoying playing this game. Back in the dark ages I used to play Statis Pro Baseball and now I can again with the program doing all the lookups and keeping better records.3 found this helpful
Digital Diamond Baseball V14 — reliability concerns DDB V14 is a capable stat engine and scorekeeper, but its game engine proved fragile in extended play, with several issues that surfaced while playing Statis Pro version. None of this ruins the core experience, but for a paid simulation, the crashes, deadlocks, and silent failures are hard to overlook.1 found this helpful
This game is a lot of fun. So many features that are easy to use. Put player pics, logos, etc in like a snap. Get as detailed as changing the pbp descriptions, but can be played straight out of the box (download). So many different ways to play. Suggest you watch the videos on how to play. Don't bite. There is absolutely nothing new here, aside from more bowing from the developer to the dice-chucking crowd (all of whom still yearn for Dwight Eisenhower, 8-track tapes, Pat Boone, and the Edsel). There is lots of sameness though: 1. Same game screens as the last half-dozen versions 2. Same lame stat package 3. Same lack of batter-by-batter spectator mode 4. Same deceptive advertising: the game DOES NOT come with all seasons from 1915 to 2025. Unless one doesn't care that the "seasons" one can load include average ratings for EVERYONE. Yup, so Clemente has the same arm rating as Greg Luzinski, Ozzie Smith has the same range as Johnny Lemaster, and Vince Coleman runs as fast as Moose Skowron. Pathetic. So please don't waste you money. Instead, spend it on the new boy on the block: Game Pulse Payoff Pitch PC. You'll be glad you did!1 found this helpful
I keep getting an error message. How do I fix it. So far not happy with V14. I tried purchasing V14 again but Steam won't let me. Now I just want my V14 fixed.
