About Digital Diamond Baseball V12
Digital Diamond Baseball is a statistically accurate baseball simulator and tabletop board game companion. The built-in game engine allows users to play games, series, tournaments, and entire seasons using players from any baseball season from 1927-2022. The board game companion feature allows users to bypass the game engine and manually play games using their favorite tabletop baseball game (digital Statis Pro baseball cards are included for all supported be seasons). Tabletop results can quickly be entered and integrated with the stats generated by the built-in game engine.
The included seasons contain as-played lineups, real-life schedules and transactions, left/right splits (1954-2023), custom player ratings (1954-2023), and ballparks (with park factors and over 40 ballpark images). In addition, you can utilize the easy to use player library tools to customize your libraries by adding player pictures, logos, sounds, and custom play-by-play calls. You can also quickly and easily build your own custom seasons from scratch using team/players from any year in history.

I bought Digital Diamond Baseball V12 to replace the app duo, BallScore/BallStat, to score our APBA league's baseball games. It is robust, easy to use, and reminds me of the old APBA for DOS game I played on my family's IBM PC Jr. growing up (in a good way). Scoring games has been a breeze and the reports are terrific. Because we use the Board Game Companion, I cannot speak to the DDBB or StatisPro engines, but the Companion is exactly what our league's scorekeeper (me) needed after laboring through our first year on BallScore. We are looking forward to starting our 2025 APBA season, but we're waiting for DDBB V13 and its announced upgrades and new options.2 found this helpful
