Really well polished. Great game with relatively short lived saves with a good amount of variety map to map.

Who knew I'd ever want a train rougelite?

The best design for gamifying railways I have seen. While there may be more detailed transport games out there this one has a great layer of goals and challenges built in. I do have some major complaints: 1. The interface is frustrating to use. The time pressure, and need for a steady drip of one-off route creation, amplify this pain. There's a constant feeling of unwanted windows being in the way, needed windows being buried or misplaced, finicky dependencies from one window to the next, and repeated opening/closing of the same menus. Buttons, viewports, and displays are often scaled in ways mismatched to importance. Time is the main difficulty pressure, but you spend far more of it messing with fiddly popups then thinking through decisions. 2. The map generation makes large flat sections of incline. Mechanically track can only be laid in 4 of the 8 directions on incline. This means you have large sections of map which cannot be turned within, and several other bizarre *feeling* 2nd order effects. For example; a small section of hill that could be easily tunneled through becomes impenetrable when it happens to lay along a cardinal direction. Options for the other directio…

Recommended for people with a high frustration tolerance who think train games are too easy. Most of the difficulties are because it's a difficult game, but damn it would be nice if a notification like "Train can't find a way to town" gave you any way of finding said train without clicking on all of them and checking if they're the one with the problem. (An 'I have a problem' flag in the train list would go a long way.)

Combines two of my favorite things, roguelikes and logistics. Neat.

was HOOKED on this for awhile. very fun logistics game. roguelite fashion makes it fun and easy to restart over and over and over and highly reccomend
