About Dungeon of Calibris: Demon Orb

Players will encounter a large cast of characters—adventurers, wanderers, mercenaries, scholars, and misfits—each with their own personalities, skills, and reasons for braving the depths. Some join the party, some offer help, and some simply try to survive. None of them are tied to politics, religion, or real‑world issues; they exist purely to enrich the adventure and keep the focus on exploration, strategy, and discovery. Very light on story, focused on exploration and battle. The dungeon itself is the heart of the game:
  • Dark, oppressive halls lit only by flickering torches
  • Monsters that grow more cunning and vicious the deeper you go
  • Hidden rooms, traps, puzzles, and treasures waiting for the observant
  • A sense of danger and mystery that never lets up
The tone is straightforward, adventurous, and nostalgic—something that feels like it could have sat on a shelf next to the RPGs a dad might have played in the ’80s or ’90s. No agendas, no heavy themes—just pure dungeon‑delving fun, built on exploration, party strategy, and the satisfaction of conquering the unknown.

Unfortunately, this is just not a fun game. Most of the modern titles of this kind make moving around the map fun, because you can tell where you're going. You can easily get back to town as well. Not in this game. The map's absolutely pointless, and the only way to get back home is to take shortcuts from certain zones in certain floors. You also can't create your own characters, you get to hire some specific guys and girls with predetermined skills... The gearing, so far (level 30) has been really uninspired, just stat sticks. The combat is one of the better parts of the game, but because everything else sucks so much, I just don't see myself playing any more of it. Sad times, since I usually really enjoy this type of games.

Awesome game! Hidden gem! Can improve if the dev decides to fix the movement, give us the option to create our character and the portrait and improve the maps by signaling the doors ,wells, stairs etc! One of the best grid move dungeon crawlers i've played!

A yesteryear dungeon dive, with a terrible map and plenty of grinding! I'm hooked!

Having fun with it so far. A samurai I wandered into now wants to join my party.

Overally i did enjoy the game, i think combat system is best part of the game, doesnt slide into repetetive grind. Enemy ability and mechanics variety is pretty good. Exploration is ok, but a bit worse then combat quality. Minimap is a bit odd, you dont get to see geometry, just unexplored spots and traps/chest/doors. You get overall map on normal difficulty, but it doesnt mark door/chests etc - unless your really good in remembering dungeon layouts id reccomend not to go veteran mode just for overall map.
