Cutesy tower defense game with nice pixel art? I'm in, instantly. But this game seems to have not been tested enough, at least the story mode, the encounters are so unbalanced it's not even fun. It relies on trial and error in order to find the perfect spot with perfect turret combination to beat and that is not my idea of a tower defense game. I had to lower the difficulty to easiest and it was still painfully hard, it doesn't seem to do anything regarding enemy damage or speed. I beat the story mode but have no intention to ever replay it again, however, the classic tower defense mode seems to be a much better mode, too bad it was not the main focus, so I can't recommend.4 found this helpful
It just feels bad, story is too slow, combat is a little clunky and the gameplay loop feels really weird2 found this helpful
The art, soundtrack are really really good. Very atmospheric. And the story really intrigued me and makes me want to finish the game. It is a mix between relaxing, strategy and action which I really like. At some point the fights start to get a lot tougher, which is just something you ave to push through. At first i thought it was a little too hard, but it really forces you to improve a lot and get a quick grasp on really understanding the mechanics. After finally defeating a fight which took a couple of tries, it really felt rewarding.1 found this helpful
great tower defense game. you can play classic TD or play through a campaign. I have played mostly on my switch so that's why my hours on here isn't that high. The game has a lot of charm and offers a fun twist on the tower defense genre. I admit I've been playing on story mode difficulty and it's been a perfect pace for me. Half Human games make some pretty fun games.
I have just finished this game and I enjoyed it a lot. It is story driven tower defense. It took me 17 hours to finish it on normal difficulty (without playing classic tower defense mode and without trying to do all achievements). Soundtrack and art very good.
Game is bugged to the point cheat codes are pinned in the discussions so you can progress. Even without that, the game is just a bit too easy to keep my attention.
