Super nices platform shooter I've had the pleasure to play the moment was out. Variety of upgrades to adjust to your preferred playstyle and a intriguing/amusing story.

EnHanced is yet another 2D retro pixel platformer (sigh) infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of video games everywhere. This one is particularly badly made, and while it does feature some story and an upgrade system, that's lipstick on a pig here. The game has numerous deep technical flaws. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. The implementation here is of such poor quality, the developer couldn't work out how to make the game display in fullscreen, it only runs in a window. The game only displays in a bizarre 1:1 aspect ratio window... not even ancient 1950's TV sets used that. It's unclear if the developer never saw a TV or a PC before, but regardless, this isn't really acceptable in the modern era of PC gaming. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on a…

Few games manage to trap me like this! Such a great metroid-like style game, satisfying platforming gameplay that rewards those who tend to take things steady. Leveling up feels quite rewarding, specially after beating those though bosses. Very intriging and mysterious story, yet quite a colorfull and fun dialog and characters. Totally recomend it!

A pretty fun little game with a very Mega Man or Metroid like feel to it. Controls are generally quite fluid and responsive. OST is some real good chiptune tracks with some NES feel. The game can sometimes be obtuse about what exactly you're suppose to do at some point but considering Larank's character that fits. It's not hard to figure out what's going on after a couple of tries either. Would recommend giving it a try!

This game could've been nice but the maker of this game forgot two things. Consistent Saving System and Fullscreen Mode, it is torture to play on thi tiny display and I lost 1 hour of progress because I only saw 1 save station in the entirety of 3 episodes.

Really solid indie platformer! The level design is interesting and varied, and making my way through the areas never got boring. I loved the boss fights, especially some of the later ones. There were one or two difficulty spikes in the latter half of the game, but nothing insurmountable and they didn't last long. If you're looking for a short, solid shooter/platformer, this one's worth checking out.
