About Equinoxe
For a long time now, you have secluded yourself within the island of Equinoxe. Your duty as its keeper is to maintain a careful balance of your world by using its main nourishing source of energy: water.
So far, you have been able to keep the lands’ harmony and never falter in your duty to protect it.
Lately, signs of an ancient and terrible calamity have started to appear, haunting you and threatening to break the sweet equilibrium you swore to defend.
Your objective is now to restore harmony and balance between two worlds reflecting each other. Journey through the path of unconditional acceptance of oneself while facing the opposing duality and complementarity to reach inner peace.
Guardian! You must do everything in your power to restore harmony and balance between those two worlds!
Water is the main energy source of the world of Equinoxe. Your mission as its guardian is to restore that source of energy and doing so, its balance. A challenging road awaits: solve puzzles that will stand in your way and explore the water paths.
You will have to rely on your logic and sense of perspective in order to progress in the world of Equinoxe. In cooperation with your other self, move around your environment with telekinesis and use perspective to rebuild your way to the next challenge.
Discover a rich and relaxing environment. Let yourself be carried away by a poetic universe and enjoy two mirrored worlds and their uniqueness.
- Discover a unique gameplay, where you will be able to play between two worlds displaying simultaneously. Explore the worlds of the sun & the moon and interact between them to solve puzzles.
- Solve enigmas that will challenge your logic senses.
- Combine visual patterns using perspective to fuse or repair ruins and access to new areas.
- Restore water in Equinoxe and retrieve the lost balance.

Equinoxe is a beautiful puzzle game experience. Control water streams and merge two different worlds through the splitscreen mechanic while enjoying a beautiful scenery and artwork! It is a game to finish in one session, but it's one of very few games that instantly hooked me and I enjoyed every single moment of it. One thing I wished for was an accessibility option to toggle RT instead of holding it to carry objects. I personally did not encounter any bugs or softlocks. Thank you for creating this piece of wonderful piece of art, and taking the time to manually make it available for me in Germany! <3 Steam Deck Info: Controller: Disable Steam Input or edit RT (default config of Steam Input for the game was missing the interact button) FPS: 40 and 60 // 20 in Splitscreen (these were consistent from 20, 40 and 60 so I assume this was the game engine)1 found this helpful
Super unique and beautiful game! Definitely recommend if you want to relax for a bit. Just be warned that the bugs can be quite annoying at times and you might have to restart from the last saved check point.
Couldn't even get it to switch to English and I do not feel like translating from French constantly. The settings to fix it just didn't work.
Average game with a cool gimmick. Great job as a student project puzzles are decent. 5/10

decent game. wish I could play it, but sadly it is very buggy. I got soft-locked rather quickly because I went to pick up a rock at the third and it glitched out of existence. and then I proceeded to get stuck between a tiny thing on the ground and the wall of a ruin. then when I went to hit "reload from checkpoint" the game froze my entire computer and I had to hard restart it. and this was after i struggled to even get it to work in the first place (had to play in windowed mode bc the game literally wouldn't work in fullscreen. sadly I cannot recommend for this reason, despite enjoying the short time I had with it. Please note, however, that I am also playing on linux, so it could partly be a compatibility issue. Though, considering the amount of others also having issues with bugginess, probably not
