So the game is absolutely peak, but if you are a good player, when you get past about level 1000 you get constantly upgrades to the point where when you finally get to exit the upgrade screen the game just simply crashes because it can't handle such big amount of damage numbers, projectiles and other mess. Also for the dev, if you want to fix this, here is the error message: ___________________________________________ ############################################################################################ FATAL ERROR in action number 1 of Step Event0 for object objJogador: Variable objJogador.dano(100016, -2147483648) not set before reading it. at gml_Script_scrArma01 ############################################################################################ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- stack frame is gml_Script_scrArma01 (line -1) gml_Object_objJogador_Step_0 --- It looks like the player’s damage variable (dano) isn’t initialized in some cases, which causes a fatal crash. Particles also go out of control when this happens. Initializing dano with a default value or adding checks before reading it might fix …

This is a game with promise, however it still needs a lot of polishing and rebalancing. The first couple runs are relatively fun in that VS style that you know you'll fail, but come back stronger... then I got over a tipping point and became an unstoppable god of destruction.... that never stops leveling up. Not sure if it's perhaps an error in the code that is supposed to raise the experience needed for each level or if it's something else, but I reached a point to where I was spending more time on the level up screen than I was playing the game. Enemy ships died before I could even see what they were and my magnet pull range was so far out that the exp was coming at about the speed of light. It has become such a mess that it doesn't feel worth playing further, even though I'm on the cusp of a few more achievements. I want to meet the other bosses as well, but can't move for the constant leveling to find the mothership. Good theory behind the game, but needs far more balancing and error correction to be really able to shine.

EvoluShip is an indie arcade shooter developed by a collaborative team consisting of JOZGames contributors JOZGamer, RFL Art, Hatus Quemuel, Aolriki, and GustaIlustra. The game blends several recognizable genres—twin-stick shooters, bullet-hell action, and roguelike progression—into a compact but energetic space combat experience. Set in a futuristic environment where swarms of hostile ships fill the screen, the player pilots a small spacecraft tasked with surviving increasingly dangerous waves of enemies. The central twist that defines the experience is the ship’s ability to evolve during battle, absorbing power from defeated enemies and transforming into a stronger and more capable machine as the run progresses. The gameplay unfolds from a top-down perspective that places emphasis on constant movement and spatial awareness. Players must steer their ship through arenas packed with hostile enemies that fire projectiles in dense patterns. Avoiding these attacks becomes just as important as dealing damage. In many moments the screen fills with incoming fire, creating situations where players must weave carefully between bullets while continuing to eliminate enemies. This creates a r…

Annoying constant lvl-up screen pops-up each second. Enemies and your own projectiles appears to be permanent and have collision, which makes it feels like you playing pinball hell. It also clutters all the space on and beyond screen and hits performance.

Great, rare idea of evolution. Give it a fly!

Yikes. If my controller is connected, it acts as though I'm holding down the "down" key / cycles through menu constantly. Glitchy graphics are hard to look at. Descriptions of abilities don't help (poor translation?). Worst though, if you can ignore the standard stuff that comes with a very cheap game (which I'm generally OK with), the enemy projectiles are solid. So you just bounce off them. Within a couple minutes, there's no avoiding and you just ping pong around the screen until you die.
