Faded Stories: Full Moon

I already played Bad Dream: Fever and really liked it, but this Game wasn't for me. The artstile is again really cool. I liked the Chapters Monday, Wednesday and Friday, even tho there were a little too easy. But the Chapter between them are pretty boring and I were just waiting for them to end. The Chapter between Monday and Wednesday is just walking for a pretty long time. Sometimes you need to change your direktion when you can't get further. Fun! The Chapter between Wednesday and Friday is in 3D, but the controls are super wierd. I don't know. It took me two hours to finish the game, and I interrupted it twice during that time because I was simply bored.

Again, pretty much just more Bad Dream. This one's a bit creepier than the previous one. But, I really like how it continued the theme of undeads from the previous game, which extended into Bad Dream: Afterlife, which came out two years later. But the one thing I praise most about this game, is that in chapter 3 and chapter 4, we go into the eyes of different characters, and get to see our two protagonists through their eyes. This is huge to me, because this is the first time in any Bad Dream or Faded Stories game that we actually get a full-on look at the character we are controlling. It makes me wonder if our protagonist in the Bad Dream series is actually either of these characters. I personally like to think that we are Sarah in the Bad Dream series. (Except in Bad Dream: Memories, since we see a boy in the drawings. Though maybe Sarah was just boyish when she was younger and is also lesbian or bisexual? I dunno.) Either way, I also noticed in chapter 4 where the game switched to a 3D freeroam style, which is what the original release of Bad Dream: Purgatory was. Again, I prefer the 2D or 2.5D point-and-click style, but I like how it switched to that just from wearing gla…

I love this developper game, really (even though it doesn't show on my profile cuz I didn't play most of them on steam) but this one was a deception. The point and click chapters were great, no notes, I thoroughly enjoyed them, but the others? Heh. "move slowly left and right" and worse "move slowly forward while nothing happens" were really not my jam. I ended up putting a book on my joystick to have my character move forward on it's own

The game is fantastic! Desert Fox really outdid themselves.

The game is fine, I much preferred Bad Dream Coma & Fever. I just didn't really enjoy the gameplay for "Undead Girl" and "Starring Contest" (mainly because it was confusing navigating through it). The story telling and the setting are amazing as always though! I haven't played all games by Desert Fox, so it might be gimmicks taken from previous games that simply do not fit my taste. I recommend the game, but not for the full price.
