Your mission is to stand as the last remaining free human in the universe, piercing through the veil of deception, uncovering the antidote to the nano-chip, and forming a resistance movement that will liberate humanity from Gates’ iron grip.
FarWest Colony is a sci-fi action-adventure game that plunges players into an huge open world. It blends survival game elements with exploration, crafting, and intense combat. Players engage in a multitude of challenges as they journey across alien planets, encounter extraterrestrial beings, mine resources, construct bases, and confront the looming threat of the Gates Foundation. The story is woven with conspiracies, revelations, and an epic rebellion against oppression.
You assume the role of a courageous survivor who joins the Resistance Movement – a clandestine organization dedicated to freeing humanity from Gates’ oppression. Throughout your journey, you’ll encounter a diverse cast of characters, including Nadeschda, a technician who defied her former allies, and Alvin, the charismatic leader of Movement. Your choices and actions will shape the course of the narrative, determining the fate of humanity.
FarWest Colony unfolds an epic odyssey through an ever-evolving sci-fi world, where players lead the remnants of humanity and stand against the tyrannical Gates Foundation. The fate of the galaxy rests in your hands as you scavenge for resources, master technologies, and forge alliances to loosen Gates’ iron hold and liberate humanity. I bought this game on sale for $5.19 (60% off). Normally, when a game is labelled 'Mixed' I can still get my monies worth, even if it is 'bad.' I'm sorry to say, "This is a heaping pile of garbage." The game is so confusing beyond belief. Poorly planned and created. When speaking to NPC's, your voice and the NPC's, are the SAME voice. No direction of where to go what-so-ever. You just kind of figure it out on your own. Nothing to tell you how to obtain resources for building your ship. Inventory space is so very small (you can hardly hold anything). Even though my Food, Water, Jetpack, and Stamina were FULL, my HEALTH went down slowly until I died (multiple times). Have no freaking clue WHY??? I looked at the game's Update History, you would think a game created so poorly would have the Developers constantly updating it every month, to improve it.... NOPE If I were to recommend this game to you, then I must real hate you. IT IS SO VERY BAD... TRASH!!!6 found this helpful
Far West Colony - First Look Review Jumping into Far West Colony for the first time was a mixed experience that balanced intriguing potential with some frustrating rough edges. The session opened with a dive into the audio and graphic settings, which worked well enough but revealed early hints of polish issues—like a noticeable typo right after creating a character. Character selection was straightforward, and the WASD controls felt familiar, though not always as responsive as you’d expect in a survival-style title. From the start, menus felt clunky and awkward to navigate. The menus were not intuitive ESC does not get you out of menus.... TAB does... the game’s crafting systems showed promise. Figuring out the Refiner was a highlight, demonstrating the kind of depth that survival fans enjoy once they get over the learning curve. Building and resource management hinted at the potential for rewarding long-term play, though the awkward interfaces occasionally undercut the experience. The mining/farming mechanic especially the sound was tragic. Please make this more on the enjoyable sound seeing as this is the most played sound in the game...
