✦ AI summary
Players praise this Mega Man-style platformer for its charming pixel art, energetic chiptune soundtrack featuring Hololive song remixes, solid mechanics, and surprising amount of content including multiple campaigns and arcade modes. The main complaints center on the short base campaign length, lack of conventional auto-save functionality, and repetitive music across quests, though the game's difficulty and hidden secrets provide satisfaction for those seeking 100% completion.
Played this game when it was on itch. Great game. But, for the casino stage, I prefer the original soundtrack, opposed to this new version.
Fun 8-bit goodness with a lotta depth and secrets. I've only managed to get the bad ending lol. There are in-game achievements in the pause menu and apparently I'm still missing a lot. Maybe I'll find Ina and get a good ending :) Love the 8-bit Hololive chip tunes.
Holy Peak
Firstly I'd just like to say that this game's really adorable. Seeing a bunch of Hololive members drawn and animated the way that they are in this game is great. It's incredible work. It's also way more than I expected in terms of who I'd see. I thought this game was going to be a simple and short in-and-out adventure, but that was NOT true. Partly because I'm insane and wanted to 100% it without knowing what I was getting myself into, but oh my God it was brutal by the end. All four of the in-game quests pretty much use the same music throughout so I'll just say it's good music. It's nothing like super special or anything, but I thought it had some pretty cute tracks here and there and it did add a good amount to the game. Some of the tracks were actual heat too. For the base game, the game plays exactly how you'd expect for a game of this type. You go through levels and get stronger as you go, and it's one of those games where you can go back to older stages and replay them with gear from later down the line to find alternate ways to beat them or just to have fun with. The game actually pushes for you to do that with some of the speedrun based achievements where you can u…
Pretty short game but fun.
Followed ever since I saw this on itch.io. The fun of ability spam, iconic bosses and the satisfaction of discovering a secret are things I'll always remember from this game. Big ups!
