Step into the boots of Nor Vanek, an elite member of the Coalition army, joined by Enki, a mysterious fox-like companion, in their quest for vengeance against the Gods. Guided by Enki who shares his knowledge of the world with you, your combat skills and traversal capabilities will be imbued with his magical powers making you a duo to be reckoned with.
Flintlock retains elements of the souls-like genre and infuses it with rapid mobility resulting in dynamic and explosive combat. Weave in melee, gunpowder and magic in rhythmic battles where combos chain together to create a deadly dance. Use Nor's gunpowder abilities to exploit verticality to your advantage and deal death from above, or quickly recover from danger.

hm. this game is a bit of a mess. its just doing.. so many things. not just in terms of gameplay, but also art and theme, it's just.. all over the place. it really should have use an axe to its list of stuff and chopped like half off, and it would have been much better off. it's not bad, just uninteresting.1 found this helpful
Characters, levels, and story are the best part about this game, the gameplay though...is rough. The standard parry is wonky and doesn't work as intended half the time due to other issues with the combat. Sometimes it just doesn't work because the animation of the attack doesn't match with when the attack actually hits, sometimes attacks just straight up go through you and/or your block, attacks have really bad tells and sometimes go way further than you would realistically expect, and sometimes the enemies miss you entirely even when your are standing right in their face. It feels like you have to get the parry upgrade with the gun because the standard one works poorly and you can parry unblockables with it...it also just activates more consistently. A lot of the enemies you fight don't stagger, you can't cancel your attack into your firearm or dodge, so the game makes it feel like it's better to just wait for the enemy to attack, gun parry, then attack when they're stagger from that, then rinse and repeat. You get to her pistols in the game but you'll just end up using the one with the most ammo so you can do the gun parries. Only fought the first boss, but it wasn't very fun fig…1 found this helpful
game combat are porr fell wood aff and on 200fps FELL like everything is laagy af i dont recomend that game go play AI limit insted

Glory to God, Jesus has slain the serpent of Satan. And emulcified the Dragon of Lucifer. Suffering is no more upon the wrecks of the Earth. Christ is upon us and claiming his herd. Great glory god has won. Flintlock while persecuted for reasons unbeknownst to me is a very well polished and complete game. It's performance on launch was excellent, as well as it's combat with mechanics and while it is not "the greatest game" I've ever played it is certainly better than a generic biker game with generic quips and stale story, that had atrocious performance on launch, like Days Gone from Bend Studio and it is possibly better than Stellar Blade...I fear no man, lord forgive me and them for they know not what they do.
