Forgive or Finalize

Spoiler!!! - This is JUST my opinion. Game built around taking or passing pills. Doesn't let you pass the pills. When I looked at this I thought it'd be some kind of buckshot roulette visual novel. I imagined: "Oh, look at this game! Pixelated graphics, gambling, debts. Oh boy I'm sure this game will talk about how capitalism in a dystopian era makes people risk their lives and the lives of their beloved ones just to be able to survive another week-" AND THEN SOMEHOW THE OTHER CHARACTER PULLS OUT TIME POWERS AND NOT EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORY. First of all, Finn is clearly bait so that people write fanfics of him and them as a "yandere" and then the game gets more popularity, that is as clear as water. And his appearance is BASICALLY a COPY AND PASTE of PETER DUNBAR, an already yandere character (which I don't like but come on! it is clearly based on him. Like that one joke where you share your homework with your buddy and ask him to make his answers slightly different than yours so that you aren't caught and he just copy pastes everything and changes a word!) I find Necxels's review as highly rated helpful a bit disheartening. The creator is quite frank in their description of this game. They say, and I quote, "You are given almost no freedom of choice. Simply face the absurd situation and witness the end." and yet this review complains of a lack of choice. You are simply there to relax and enjoy. The only thing I will critique is the loop being a little bit repetitive but a SKIP button was provided to compensate for this fact. I think people are rating this as a bad game when it simply wasn't THEIR TASTE and there is a difference. Great job! Keep makin more games!

This game is... confusing. I think it is very evident that the game was not originally made in English. Perhaps the original is better, but the English translation isn't very clear. There are many misspellings and weird word choices that don't make much sense. The gameplay really isn't that much of gameplay, its more of just a visual novel as the choices you make don't change much. The point of a visual novel is the plot which you read, so if the wording and therefore plot don't make sense, there is no reason to play it. If you want to out of curiosity, go ahead. That's what I did. It only takes about 30 minutes to get through all the content. Just don't be surprised when you get to the end and wonder what the point was.

The game "story" is nonsensical, and the player has no way to influence anything (UI stops you from making choices). I "finished" it and got both achievements but was more confuse at the end than at the beginning. I have no idea what this story is meant to portrait or why anything happened.

it was a experience to learn about the character at first i thought they were brothers it isits a good horror if trying to wind down fun for half an hour to hour game play ngl

great game, bit slow at first and leaves a lot to interpretation. as other reviewers have said, it's not meant to be a choice-based game. it's more just a narrative you experience and your viewpoint as the player does come in handy near the end. also its free, so give it a spin. overall rating: recommended
